Dear Dr. Aaron,

Writer's picture: Aaron RiedelAaron Riedel

The holiday weekend was a much needed break from the daily grind. Live music, BBQ and reverence for the fallen. My family thought it would be a good idea to play croquet… When your family is as competitive as mine…any game that may be played with a large wooden mallet is a bad idea. It all started when my wife decided to “send” my mom’s ball. The ball ended up in the prized flower bed, my dad started yelling to stay out of the flowers, dad yelling excited the dogs so much they began running in circles, the grandbabies started crying, the grill flared up, such a mess!! My mom tackled my wife and they both went to the ground…. Laying on the ground they both started laughing hysterically….. neither are getting around very well can you help?

Thank you,

Dazed and Confused

Dear Confused,

I stopped giving croquet lessons a few years ago. Thank you for the reminder, I probably should get my mom flowers! Dogs barely listen to me… so while I might offer the advice of keep a spray bottle of water nearby for the grill (and a fire extinguisher….don’t ask) I’m sure a treatment might be a big help for the both of them. Make an appointment today.. wait at different times (less chance of repeat chaos)

Family time is always the most fun!!

Always here for you,

Dr. Aaron
